You’ve worked hard the last week and should give yourself credit for getting through the horrible research phase.

I’ll will warn you, it’s not over. You will revisit some of those tasks this week as well.

Lets look at what’s ahead of us for this week.

Purchase a domain name

This should be a .com if at all possible. At the very least it can be a .net. This isn’t going to be a personal web site that is all about you. It’s all about the niche you have chosen. Ideally your domain name should have your main keyword. Don’t be afraid to hyphen it. Try www.abc-dogdiets.com or www.fundogdiets.com or www.dog-food-diets.com . I don’t know if any of these are available – those are just ideas. Go over to your favorite domain registrar and start trying out names to see what’s available. If you don’t have a domain name registrar, go to www.songsterdomains.com . The .com’s are $6.95 each (at the time of this writing). You should have all your domains in one place just to keep it simple. If you want to get organized, that domain registrar has a transfer feature that gives you a year registration free. (ok, I’m done with the advertisement!)
